Raleighvallen/Voltzberg Nature Reserve
Our site is the Foengoe Eiland, downstream of the Coppename River. It is the tropical rain forest, with an unspoiled Flora and fauna. We got up at 6a.m. and still dark.
6.00 Mouse-Coloured Antshrike, WarblingAntbird, Little Chachalaca, Variegated Tinamou, Epaulet Oriole, still dark.
6.30 Getting light: White Flanked Antwren, White Lined Tanager, Wing-Barred Manakin, Black Eared Fairy in nearby trees and bushes.
6.45 Sun's up. Red and Green Macaw, Scarlet Macaw, Channel Billed Toucan flew over.
6.45 Hepatic Tanager, Rufous-Browed Pepper Shrike, Rusty Margine.
7.00 Pompadour Cotinga, Spangled Cotinga, Green Honeycreeper.
7.20 Soaring, White Tailed Hawk.
