Exotics in Secondary Rainforest

One of the surprising features of IDCD is the revelation that, almost wherever you go in the world, the local Dawn Chorus will include exotic species from far afield. In Singapore as well as many striking native species such as the Yellow-Vented Bulbul, the Long-Tailed Parakeet and the Olive-Backed Sunbird, three exotic species in nearby secondary rainforest were heard from a balcony - Lineated Barbet, Javan Mynah and White-Crested Laughingthrush.
