Dawn Chorus on the Basingsoke Canal In celebration International Dawn Chorus Day, the Surrey Greenspace Project is offering the early birds a chance of catching the worm! A free guided walk lead by Basingstoke Canal Authority Ranger Pete Bickford, along the towpath of the canal in Woking. A chance to discover the sights and, more importantly, the sounds of this time of day and learn a little more about this nationally important habitat right on people’s doorsteps.
