Dawn Chorus at Haymill Valley with BBOWT

Celebrate nature's wake-up call on International Dawn Chorus Day with members of the 'Friends of Haymill Valley'. They will be taking a gentle wander around this hidden gem of a reserve, trying to identify as many bird calls as possible. The walk will only cover a short distance and light refreshments will be provided. Booking essential. No dogs please. Suitable for children aged 8 years plus.

As part of International Dawn Chorus Day join staff for the spring sunrise, to the serenade of local songbirds. The event will conclude in the woodland amphitheatre, where the fire circle will be prepared as a communal barbeque for participants to cook themselves breakfast, using any ingredients they have brought along.

Enjoy the spring flowers, birds and butterflies in the woods and meadows of BBOWT’s Moor Copse reserve. The bluebells and early purple orchids should be at their best. Distance 2 miles, uneven ground. No dogs please.
